Server Migration

Hey everyone, I think this weekend I'm going to be migrating the server to a new computer, so that I can have that computer running 24/7 and not depending on my laptop.  Not sure when it will be back up, hopefully Monday.

I lied..

I managed to figure it all out after all.  So I believe I'm gonna keep it up, because everything seems to be working.  You guys may have lost your home binds, for which I apologize.  But it shouldn't be too hard to get back! =P

Anyways, the only things your really need to know is that now when you log in to my server you'll have to register a password, and use that password when you log back in.  Not too bad.  And that I've added factions and here's a link to all the commands and other things: http://massivecraft.com/plugins/factions

Server Down

Hey everyone (or those who actually come to my blog), just making a post right now that the server may not be up till later in the day tomorrow due to some plugins that I'm trying to configure.

Speaking of which, here is what I'm adding in:

• A factions plugin so people can form factions and wage war or whatever.
• An authentication plugin (so I wont get hacked again and so I can disable online-mode).
• I've replaced NoCheat with AntiHack, because it was working better for me.
• I may replace bZone with WorldGuard, because I've been having some issues with the protections, as for some reason you can break blocks at spawn, but not place em, which isn't planned

I also added Shops during the day today, that's up and running, and 3njoy_lummy made a town and mall for your shopping needs.  So talk to him if you want to move into a place in his town!

Hacked/Griefed!!! D:

Well, some of you may know that I got hacked last night and that person griefed the server.. I guess I've learned my lesson.  But don't worry, it's all fixed now!  Thanks to 3njoy_lummy for the help.  Anyways, I'm going to work on some plugins to make sure I can still have online-mode set to false, but make sure that I wont get hacked because of that.

Thanks to all the people who joined my server today.  I had 18 different people join my server today!  This is a pretty nice accomplishment, seeing as I only started the server yesterday.  Also thanks to those who helped identify some bugs today, it was greatly appreciated.  I would like to start doing some work on them right away, so be prepared for those, I may have to pull the server offline for a little bit.  I may start tomorrow, who know.  Thanks again to everyone who showed up, I appreciated it!

Back Up!

The server is back up, and I am introducing the Mob Arena!!!  A new portal is now located in the tree house to get you to the arena!!

When you're at the arena (and even if you aren't) you can type /ma to bring up a list of commands:

/ma join
/ma leave
/ma spectate

Are the main ones you'll be using, and are pretty self explanatory.  Here are some pics of the arena I built earlier today to hold these activities.

I will probably also use this arena for PVP battles, should the server grow enough for people to want that.
